This is a gift I made for the band Icon For Hire. It sorta glows in the dark. I am learning that the perler beads aren't very strong in the dark, but it still looks pretty spiff. Magnets on the back for easy displaying on metal surfaces.

Rhedrin made a gift for Ariel, the lead singer as well seen here: Counting on Hearts as did our daughter victoria-jaderose, cute sculpy earrings seen here: IFH earrings.

Just got back from FoG (Fans of Gaming) con in Pekin, IL. It was a great time! Met a lot of wonderful people and brought perler art to those who attended. When I wasn't feverishly trying to make commissions, Rhedrin and I hung out with the very talented artists that were in our row, KileyBeecher and JeremiahLambertArt .

I would like to thank both Kiley and Jeremiah for reviving my urge to draw once more. It's something that I miss doing and have let fall to the wayside. But now I feel inspired. :)

I have a variety of things I like to do with my time. Perler beads are taking up the most space, but I love coloring with Copics and Prismacolor markers. The latter has rubbed off on my husband, Rhedrin, and he makes shadow boxes, which are for sale.

Like my perler items? You may buy some here! The Crafty Kraken

Yes, but I have never used one. I don't think you would get a very good, even melt with the press. With the iron, I move it around and I feel that it helps even out/fill in the holes better. With the press, they may just melt down but leave holes.  Or behave how some beads do when they don't melt properly and look funky.

idk in my mind i think it would work better than a iron cus you can heat it all at once at the same amount of time and temperature
